Get Your Own Website or Blog Setup for Only $97

This package includes:

  • Installation of WordPress 2.8 (or later).
  • Installation of WordPress theme of your choice. Themes can be found on the internet by searching for "wordpress themes". Most themes are free, but some are a small fee of anywhere between $40-$100.
  • Installation of Easy Contact Plugin for use as a Contact Page.
  • Installation of the form code from your autoresponder or mailing list software in a sidebar.
  • Initial setup of pages for navigation menus.
  • Addition of your logo. Please select a theme which has an appropriate background where you want the logo to be placed. If you choose a theme where the logo placement has a colored background and your logo file has a white background, it will not look very good. If you have a .eps or .ai format of your logo, I can use that and it will not matter so much about the background. White backgrouns are best.
  • Access to online training video which will show you how to administer various areas of your site.

This package does not include:

  • Purchase of a domain name. I recommend $9.99 Domain Names from ww.GoDaddy.com.
  • Hosting space - you will need to have your own. I recommend Unlimited Domain Hosting Only $4.95 a Month from HostGator.
  • Customization to the theme, including colors or images. This can be quoted separately.
  • Adding your content, including images or embedded videos
  • Installation of additional plugins, themes or widgets. This can be quoted separately.

Domain The name of the domain you want WordPress installed on.
Hosting Service The name of your hosting provider. (IE: GoDaddy, HostGator, Netfirms, HostPapa, etc.)
Theme The name of the theme you want installed and URL or location where I can find it.
Navigation Structure and Sidebars Navigation

First take a close look at the theme you've chosen. Figure out what menu options you want to have. If the template has 5 menu options, you do not have to have 5 as well, you can have 1 or more in that space.

Sidebars

Please also note, does your selected theme have a left and right side bar? (A narrow vertical area where other pieces of the site are shown). If so, please indicate what you would like in these areas. If you have a banner, please email it to me (email address below). You can take a look at http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/tags/widget and if there is something there you'd like installed, let me know. If it's a simple thing, I'll include it, if not I'll let you know how much extra it will be to install and configure.

If you have form code from an autoresponder such as iContact or Constant Contact, please include that here as well.

Next Steps....

In a separate email please send me your username & password for you hosting account.

And please send $97 + GST if you live in Canada $4.85 = $101.85 via Paypal or Bank Money Transfer to: tracy @ tracymatthewman . com. Payment is required before any work is done.

If you live outside Canada, please send $97 in Canadian funds via Paypal to tracy @ tracymatthewman . com.

Once I receive these last two items, I will get started on your WordPress Installation.
