Customer Testimonials
"Even though I had completely redecorated my living room a few years ago, it still didn’t look or feel right. I was stuck in a rut, always placing the furniture against the walls … afraid to try anything different because the room is not very large. After Sandi completed the redesign, I had a cozy conversation area from which I could still enjoy the view through my bay window."
... Terri, Toronto
"I just knew something needed to be done to the brick fireplace in our family room. It looked very dated and the dull brown brick made the room seem dark and uninviting. Sandi painted all brickwork a cream colour to match the walls and then Andraya set to work giving the cement hearth and mantel a warm faux marble finish. This fireplace is now the focal point of our room, as it was meant to be. Our friends and neighbours were awed by the dramatic results."

INDEPTH INTERVIEW:
What is the nature of your business?
The nature of my business is to provide clients with one-day room makeovers, giving them a fresh new look using their own furnishings, art and accessories.
What services or products does your business offer?
Interior Redesign, Real Estate Staging, Colour Consultations, Painting of Faux Finishes and Wall Murals, Gift Certificates.
Who is your target market?
My target market is any homeowner who wants that designer look without the big expense. We work within your budget.
What is your business mission statement?
"Redesigning your world ... one room at a time"
What first sparked your interest in this business and why are you passionate about it now?
I have always had a personal interest in home decor and recently decided to make a career change. I am passionate about interior redesign because I feel that everyone should have a balanced and harmonious home, one that truly reflects their lifestyle.
Who inspired you?
I was inspired by Val Sharp, President of the Canadian Redesigners Association, of which I am now a member.
Why did you pursue your own business vs working for someone else?
After 25 years in the corporate world, I felt that it was time to do something creative. I like the idea of being my own boss now.
What are some of the obstacles you've faced and how did you overcome them?
As yet, I have not faced any obstacles. My background in marketing helped me formulate a plan for business start-up and advertising efforts. Should future obstacles occur, I have the support of my family and we'll work through them.
What is your business's proudest achievement so far?
I'd have to say my proudest achievement so far was being found on a Google search !
What are some of your future goals?
My future goals are to build a strong client base and a good networking team.
What 'Pearl of Wisdom' can you offer to help other women starting out?
To anyone starting their own small business, I'd tell them what my dear Aunt Faye told me: "Don't borrow any money for start-up costs." I feel that if you use your own savings, you won't get in over your head.
Do you have a favorite quote you'd like to pass on?
"If you always do what you always did, you'll always get what you always got"
