"Last July, I started a business called If The Shoe Fits. If The Shoe Fits was originally a business where I sold women's shoes out of my home. I quickly realized that I wasn’t reaching my customers the way I had anticipated.

Rita Gordon knows about growing a seasonal business. She is the co-owner of Gordon's Park, an adventure, eco park located in Northern Ontario, Canada on 100 acres of beautiful Manitoulin Island. She and her husband opened the park nearly 20 years ago and business couldn't be better...even only operating for 3 out of 12 months of the year.

Rachel Greenfeld was born to connect people. She just has a gift. Throughout her adult life, Ms. Greenfeld has lived in 12 different countries, where she honed her craft of bringing people together, and made a huge impact on the lives of the people she connected. “I had a going away party in every place I lived…. I always had [at least] 500 people at my going away parties!,” says Greenfeld with a laugh.

After years of being in a male dominated industry and wondering why there wasn't more women in top positions, Mary Aitken realized that women needed a place where they could focus on their own life balance yet still be exposed to informal networking and role modelling which is traditionally a part of men's success and so she started Verity - a club for women.
